AgedKENBISHI is characterized by blending aged sake brewed over multiple years, but this product is bottled without blending, made from sake aged in a single tank.
A limited edition product that is bottled only once a year.
The 2024 edition will be a carefully selected product that has been aged for 7 years. It is a pure rice type matured sake made from the highest quality Yamada-nishiki rice.

Kenbishi is known as the first sake brewery to be branded in Japan, est. 1505. Kenbishi was very popular sake enjoyed by samurai. On the eve of major military battles, a large Kenbishi barrel would be ceremoniously opened. It was believed that sake strengthened the bonds of friendship and established strong loyalty in upcoming battles.
