More complex, with a real long ageing potential, richer they are indeed the jewels of the Chablis crown. The Chablis Premier Cru Beauroy (handsome king) from the Domaine Verret follows this hierarchy to the letter by offering a mesmerising aromatic diversity from the first whiff. Some grapefruit, a bit of honeysuckle and some iodine when its young evolve to a jammy candied repertoire of white flesh fruits and spicy tobacco leaves on a mineral base when given the opportunity to age.
