Very well known, almost famous, not so many know this wine is taking its name from the grape variety it is mad with: the Aligoté which can be found all over Burgundy but only in Burgundy.
Beautiful pale yellow and with a beautiful shine, fresh, complex. Fresh easy to drink. Beautiful citrus aromas of white flowers. Nice length and a very mineral finish.

Food Pairings: As a native Burgundian would, you can serve it with some Jambon Persillé (chunks of ham layered with parsley) or snails in puff pastry. Though adventurous it can be interesting with some monkfish and chorizo and you can't go wrong with comté, cheddar, parmesan cheese or gouda.
Tasting Notes: At first giving its floral side, the nose will then impress by its unique aromatic presence mixing citrus, green apple and pear. A true sweet on the palate you will surf between freshness and a fruitier experience. It's as if it had been designed for pleasure, perfect to awaken your appetite and accompany your aperitif it can go with the rest of your dinner and find a rightful place with your cheese platter.
